EXECUTIVE BOARD '22 - '23

The Westview CSF Executive Board handles the behind-the-scenes operations, systems, and initiatives that keep Westview CSF running. With the duties and responsibilities of being an officer, there's always plenty to do and plenty to learn in a role that will prepare you for leadership beyond just the classroom.

Positions

PRESIDENT

The President (Seniors only) is the highest ranking officer in CSF and has final say in all active and planned organization initiatives. They are responsible for the coordination and management of application cycles and the Scholars' Banquet.

VICE PRESIDENT

The Vice President (Juniors only) is second in command and automatically ascends to the rank of President after the President graduates. The Vice President assists the President in their tasks as well as other Executive Officers.

SECRETARY

The Secretary handles the paperwork and procedure necessary to keep Westview CSF running. In addition, the Secretary manages the email newsletter and responds to member inquiries. 

TREASURER

The Treasurer controls the fiscal operations within Westview CSF. They coordinate the annual budget as well as income and expenditures such as application fees and the Scholars' Banquet. Math skills required. 

TECHNICAL OFFICER

The Technical Officer administers the various frontend and backend systems that are responsible for the behind-the-scenes operations driving application, membership, and website services. Extensive coding knowledge is recommended.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER

The Community Service Officer coordinates and networks with other clubs and organizations to offer new community service opportunities for our CSF members. 

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

The Communications Officer drives community facing functions. They run the CSF Instagram including creating informative graphics for our members. They are also responsible for the CSF blog. 

How can I apply?

When an senior Executive Officer graduates, their position will open up for all CSF members. Applications open in March and new officers are selected by May, allowing for an interim in which old officers teach can new officers their duties before graduating.

Attend the Informational Session

You'll receive an email with an invitation to attend an info session in Ms. Loo’s room (G-116) detailing more about the Executive Board and what being an officer entails. Prospective executive applicants will then be given a link to sign up for the position they're running for as well as their interview date.
